1Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Parkit, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2Use of Service
Parkit provides a platform connecting parking spot owners with drivers seeking parking. Users must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license to use our booking services.
3User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
4Bookings and Payments
All bookings are subject to availability. Payments are processed securely through our payment provider, Stripe. All prices are displayed in UAE Dirhams (AED). A platform fee of 15% is charged on each booking.
5Cancellation Policy
Our standard cancellation policy provides the following refunds:
- 24+ hours before: Full refund
- 12-24 hours before: 50% refund
- Less than 12 hours: No refund
Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method.
6Host Responsibilities
Hosts are responsible for ensuring their parking spots are accurately described, legally available for rent, and safe for use. Hosts must have the legal right to offer their parking space and maintain appropriate insurance coverage. Hosts receive 85% of the booking amount after platform fees.
7Driver Responsibilities
Drivers must park only during their booked time slot and follow all access instructions provided. Overstaying may result in additional charges. Drivers are responsible for any damage caused to the parking facility.
8Limitation of Liability
Parkit acts as an intermediary platform connecting hosts and drivers. We are not liable for any damages, theft, or loss arising from the use of parking spots booked through our platform. Users park at their own risk and are responsible for their vehicles. Our maximum liability is limited to the booking amount paid.
9Dispute Resolution
Any disputes between users should first be reported to Parkit support for mediation. If disputes cannot be resolved, they shall be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.
